Tent cloth.

--We are informed by the Quartermaster in charge of the tent department that the difficulty about obtaining tents arises from an inadequate supply of tent cloth. All that could be obtained has been bought, and there is no supply of cloth in this market sufficient to turn out the quantity desired. Arrangements have been made to furnish large quantities of tents from the South, and it is hoped that all of the troops will soon be supplied. Every effort has heretofore been made, and if troops have suffered they must blame Lincoln's blockade, which has cut off the supply of cloth, and not the Quartermaster's Department.
