Fighting each other.

In the Northern accounts of the affairs in the Peninsula, it is stated that in the collision between their own regiments, one a German and one an Albany (N. Y.) regiment, the latter ran after losing one man killed and two or three wounded. It is a bad business to be whipped by the Germans in their own employment, and such indifferent marksmen at that!
