--A female, of decent exterior, was hauled up before his Honor yesterday, having been conveyed to the cage the night previous by the watch while drunk.
She was found on the pavement.
She begged hard to be let off, but the Mayor said he was engaged in an energetic crusade against drunkenness, and could not forgive a woman who so far forgot herself.
She was committed.
It is not necessary to give her name.
