Canadians going South.

--The number of young men who have left Quebec during the last few days for the Southern States, according to the Chronicle, is positively astonishing, and surpasses by far the number of those who were in she habit of seeking their fortunes in the South during the winter of former years. The figure will scarcely fall short of six hundred. They nearly all belong to the working classes connected with the shipping, and are bound for Savannah, New Orleans, Mobile, Pensacola and other Southern ports.
