Election of a Governor of South Carolina.

Columbia, Dec. 15.
--Hon. F. W. Pickens late United States Minister to Russia, has just been elected Governor by a vote of 82 to 84 for Mr. Johnson. The utmost confidence is felt and expressed in the ability and will of the Governor elect to direct the affairs of the late in the trying crisis which is now at land. Immediate secession is certain. Every one is for it.
