Pitiable Sight.

--Yesterday morning a white woman, named Mary Tracy, appeared before the Mayor to answer the charge of being drunk and very disorderly in the street on Tuesday afternoon. In the prison box with the accused, were two bright, intelligent looking boys, who clung to the poor inebriate and claimed her as their mother. Not knowing what better to do, for want of a house of correction, the Mayor remanded the woman to prison, and sent the children to the poor-house to be provided for.
