Pop-Crackers and other fire-works are in great demand with the youth of the city, who are having a joyous time in firing salutes and alarming the unsuspecting as they pass. If not indulged in too freely, so as to alarm horses and cause serious damage, the police will probably interfere with very few, who do not compel them to do so.
