--Last Wednesday evening, Justice Childrey, of Henrico, attended by Constable Thomas, held an inquest over the body of a man — name supposed to be Ellry — found at Powhatan place. On his person was found a memorandum book, showing that he was a carpenter by trade, but there was nothing in it to indicate his name. The jury returned a verdict--"Came to his death from causes unknown." Some few days since we noticed in this paper the disappearance of a carpenter who resided on Jackson street, and have since been informed that another man of that trade has not been heard of by his family or employers for several days past. The friends of the lost men can get information relative to the body found by inquiring of Justice Childrey.
