A silver wedding present.

--A magnificent party was given at a private residence in Milwaukee, Wis., last week, in honor of a silver wedding of the host and hostess. The feature of the evening was the exhibition upon one of the tables, a deed from the host to the hostess, of property amounting in value, even in these hard times, to $100,000. The property consists of the mansion in which they reside, which is worth, with its furniture, full $60,000, and a block of buildings, worth $40,000. Such a fortunate silver wedding does not often fall to the lot of any lady in this country, and the best of it is, that it was wholly unexpected in this case by the estimable recipient.
