Coroner's inquest.

--The Coroner, Dr. Peachy attended by High Constable Butler, held an inquest on Monday afternoon over the body of B. V. Pierce, the circumstances of whose death were narrated in yesterday's paper. It appeared that he had procured laudanum at two different places, and had swallowed a large quantity. He was in the habit of using the expression that he was "going mole hunting," and had, on two previous occasions, attempted to commit suicide. A verdict was rendered that he came to his death by taking laudanum. We are informed that the relatives of the deceased live in North Carolina.
