Fines

--A fine of $2.50 was imposed upon Julia Washner, by the Mayor, yesterday, for permitting negroes to assemble unlawfully at her house, on the night of the 16th inst.

William Harris, a free negro, was fined $5 for keeping a cook-shop without a license, and permitting slaves to assemble there.
