Military Organizations rather Costly.

--The Committee on Militia of the Rhode Island Senate have reported that it would require an appropriation of one million dollars to put the militia of the State upon a war footing. This sum cannot, however, be appropriated, unless the assent of the tax-payers is first given at the polls.
