Horses' feet Balling with snow.

--Take a piece of paper and place it on the shoe as it is fixed on the horse's foot; with a pencil mark on the inside of the paper the size of the inside form of the shoe; cut out the piece of paper and mark the gutta percha. Allow an eighth of an inch larger of gutta percha on each side of the front part to go under the shoe, to keep it from coming out when the horse is at work. Taper the edge of the gutta percha to facilitate it going under the shoe, and cut out a triangular piece of the gutta percha so as to prevent an undue pressure on the frog. It will be found a simple, cheap and effectual remedy.--The Field.
