--An army surgeon suggests the propriety of friends sending ‘"blackberry cordial,"’ having the following ingredients — cloves, cinnamon, allspice and ginger — to their soldier friends.
The suggestion is doubtless a good one, and needs only to be mentioned to be put in execution by the devoted and patriotic women of our land.
