--We under stand that Mr. George W. Eubank, a well-known printer, living on Union Hill, attempted self-destruction yesterday, by cutting his throat, in a fit of temporary insanity.
He was not dead yesterday evening, and but slight hopes were entertained of his recovery.
The self- inflicted wound was an extensive one.
