--The Missouri State cavalry have made a decided impression at Monroe Station
, Mo. They routed the Federalists, burnt the station-house, six coaches, eighteen cars, and tore up the railway track on each side of the town.
A messenger who was dispatched here for assistance reports that Col. Smith
and fifty Federals have been taken prisoners.
