Rumors, &c., in Baltimore.

Baltimore, July 11.
--It is again rumored here that Gen. Patterson's entire army has been annihilated.

The troops quartered in the city are apparently preparing to leave.

Mr. Dodge, a Unionist, has been appointed City Marshal.

Major Twiller's dispatches create intense curiosity. It appears they demanded the virtual surrender of Washington.

[We don't know who Major Twiller is, Col. Taylor went to Washington with dispatches. Probably the Northern public has been ‘"sold"’ as to the nature of the dispatches.--Eds.]
