--An accident occurred in the armory at Baton Rouge, which resulted in the explosion of some of some old 6-pound shells the men were unloading, and from which the powder was mistakenly supposed to have been taken. Three men were wounded — John Reams, John Flannery and Martin Holland — the first mentioned seriously in the groin, the other two slightly.
