Important invention.

--Mr. Ed. B. Seely, of Bowling Green, Ky, has succeeded in making the greatest improvement in fire-arms that has yet come under the observation of the editor of the Gazette. He has invented a new gun, entirely different from any other pattern, and complete in all its arrangements. It will shoot 2400 Mine balls a minute with all the accuracy and precision of a rifle. It is light in construction and portable, and can be easily handled by two men. Its capacity can readily be extended to 5000 balls a minute. A caveat has been filed, and Hon. J. R. Underwood has taken steps to secure a patent.-- Louisville Journal.
