--Baltimore papers of a recent date furnish the subjoined news from Fortress Monroe:

The steamer Adelaide, Capt. Cannon, arrived Wednesday morning from Old Point Comfort. She brought a number of passengers, among whom were several of Duryea's Zouaves, wounded in the battle of Great Bethel.

The Third Massachusetts Regiment left on Tuesday afternoon, on the steamer Cambridge, and the Fourth was to have left yesterday by the Spaulding, for Boston. Gen. Pierce. Who commanded at Great Bethel, returns with them.

A battalion had been sent out from Newport Newspoint, in search of a squad of Confederate cavalry, but had not returned when the A. left. The following is the letter from the correspondent of the Associated Press:

The Third Massachusetts Regiment sails for Boston this evening, in the steamer Cambridge. They were reviewed by General Butler to-day. The Fourth Massachusetts Regiment follows to-morrow. Col. Max Webber's and Colonel Butler's Regiments were to occupy Hampton; but this plan has been somewhat changed. Brigadier General Pierce retires from the Massachusetts. Regiments.--Col. Duryea will probably be Acting Brigadier General in Hampton.
