Death of an able office.

--We regret to announce the death of Capt. C. Nohrden, of Company A, German Artillery. Captain Nohrden has been for several years connected with the company of which he was Captain, and was highly esteemed both for his abilities as an artillery officer and for his many social qualities. During last winter, he, with his company, rendered efficient service to the State for a period of nearly four months. His death at this time is a heavy loss to his adopted State.--Charleston Courier.
