Voice from the New York Stock Board.
--We have seen (says the Baltimore South
of Friday evening,) a copy of the lithographed circular of a well-known New York firm engaged in the stock business, dated yesterday, in which they say:
The Stock Market
became weak yesterday afternoon, and this morning it opened with a continuance of the same tendency, and prices fell off from ½ to 1 per cent., without any particular cause being assigned, further than absence of outside orders.
To day it looks as if the public is disposed to wait until the defeat of our troops is forgotten before venturing to speculate for a rise.
