--Mr. J. C. Wingard, of this city, has invented a gun which he desires for the use of the Confederate Army; a gun which he has calculated will throw 192 balls in one minute — surely a terrible weapon.
He has exhibited his model to Gen. Twiggs, and from that high officer has received the strongest commendation and encouragement-- N. C. Crescent.
