at the port of New York for the month of July, are feas than the receipts for any single week in the corresponding month in either of the last two years. Of even this amount, only a very small portion has been entered ly for consumption more than half the imports for the north been warehoused.
The to ntered for consumption is only about five per cent of the aggregate for the same period in former years, it being against last year.
