Sales of captured vessels and cargo of coal.
--The sale of the captured vessels and the cargo of coal on board the schooner Margaret
was rather slimly attended.
The schooner Margaret
was first sold at $510.--Messrs. George Gravatt
and W. R. Mason, jr.
, being joint bidders.
Her cargo of coal, consisting of one hundred and twenty tons more or less, brought $810, the Confederate States
buying it. The schooner Mary Price
was cried out after we left, we learn, at the price of $710.--Fred. Rec.
