--The Coroner, assisted by High Constable Freeman, held an inquest yesterday on the body of Bob Clarke, slave of Mr. Alexander Lithgow, of Chesterfield county, whose body was found floating in the Dock, at the intersection of fifteenth street. The jury, after examining all the testimony that would throw light on the manner of his death, came to the conclusion that it was caused by accident, and returned a verdict to that effect. The body was inclosed in a neat and substantial coffin sent by Mr. Lithgow, and was removed to the South-Side for interment.
