--A dwelling house at Barker's old furnace, near Curtis' creek, Anne Arundel county, occupied by Mr. Thielman, was burned to the ground on Tuesday night. All the furniture was consumed, and the family were awakened just in time to escape with their lives.
Mr. Thielman, who was ill, leaving $100 in notes under his pillow.
It is thought the house was set on fire.
