Judge Lyons Court was occupied all day yesterday in hearing habeas corpus case. The writ was sued but by member of the Notteamy Artillery company, who sets forth that he is unlawfully detained from his home, and prays the interposition of the Court in his favor. The unlawfulness of his detention in the service consists in the fact that the minimum number of men allowed by law to constitute a company, was not attached to his company when it was formally mustered into the service. The Court adjourned before getting through with the case. A most important question in involved in it and the public will await its decision with great interest.
