Larceny and shooting.

--On Saturday night last, Mr. James H. Love, residing on Church Hill, heard a noise on his premises, and, going to his window, found that some petty their was disturbing his fowls. He immediately fired a shot-gun, loaded with buck-shot, in the direction of the thief, and had the satisfaction of hearing the fellow cry out, as if from pain, as he decamped from the scene of his thievish exploits.
