More did for the sick soldiers.

--Our German friends have resolved not to be behind their native-born fellow-citizens in works of love and mercy. The German Turn Verein will, on Monday evening next, at Monticello Hall, give one of their admirable performances, for the benefit of the sick and wounded Confederate soldiers. The pieces chosen for this occasion are Zwei Herra and Ein Diener and , which are said to be excellent, though we cannot speak knowingly. Of all the performances which have been projected or executed in aid of the Southern cause, not one has been or will be received with more favor by the people of Richmond, indicating, as this does; a universal inferred among all nativities in the welfare of our brave soldiers. We hope and believe that the Turn Verein will be greeted by an immense audience.
