Norfolk correspondent, which was received last night at too late an hour for publication to-day, states that it is reported there that Joseph Segar, proprietor of the Hygeia Hotel at Old Point, and distinguished for his Lincolnism, has been shot by a Confederate picket on the Peninsula.
