Wood contracts.

--We understand that the Confederate Government has made contracts with a large number of dealers for the furnishing of wood for the various purposes for which it will be needed next winter by the Government. These contracts will necessarily have a tendency to make it difficult for persons of limited means to procure that sort of It is an important matter to our people, and they should try to have the number of the dealers in wood commensurate with the demand for the article.
