--The Newburn (N. C.) Daily Progress says that Mrs. Tempa Sirls, of Broad Creek, Craven county, hung herself on Friday last, having lost her reason on account of her two sons volunteering and joining the army.
A jury of inquest was held over the body who returned verdict as above.
Mrs. Sirls was a widow lady and leaves three children, besides those in the army.
