President Davis returned from Fairfax yesterday afternoon, apparently much improved in health.
After shaking hands with several of his friends at the depot, he stepped into his private carriage and drove rapidly to his residence.
The quiet and unostentatious manner of his arrival was in marked contrast with the ridiculous displays made by the "Republican" tyrant at Washington.
