The Peyton Artillery.

We have learned from Lieut. Lawson, of the Peyton Artillery, that the State has made a special appropriation for the benefit of the soldiers, out of which they are expected to pay for their clothing. Our impression is that no money has yet been received in behalf of that company, either from the citizens or anybody else, but if a fund is in reserve, it is but justice to the men that it should be forthcoming.
