--The Mayor yesterday imposed a fine of $10 upon Robert Gillen for permitting negroes to assemble unlawfully at his house on the 16th inst., and $5 upon Wm. Batton, for selling ardent spirits on Sunday.
A summons against J. D. Briggs, for employing an unlicensed vehicle on the streets, was dismissed.
