Cavalry drill and Review.

--Col. Ransom's splendid regiment of North Carolina Cavalry was out on the field adjacent to Hollywood, Sunday morning, for the purpose of drill. The movements were finely executed, particularly the order to ‘"charge,"’ which was a sight worth going a long way to see.

The regiment was reviewed yesterday afternoon by President Davis, who expressed himself highly pleased with the efficiency and unexceptionable appearance of the command. A large throng of persons, including many ladies, took advantage of this opportunity to witness one of the most imposing of military spectacles. The horses of the regiment are not only remarkable for their quality and condition, but their training is excellent. To North Carolina belongs the honor of sending forth the finest body of cavalry now in the service of the country.
