A sweet potato.

--The Savannah (Ga.) News has been shown a curiosity in the shape of a sweet potato, which would measure some eighteen inches in length and about an inch in diameter. The potato is not only coiled up so as to resemble a coiled snake, but has at one end what very much resembles a serpent's head and at the other end a tail.
