--Yesterday morning, while the North Carolina Cavalry regiment were proceeding towards the western part of the city, and turning a corner near the inter section of Leigh street and Brook Avenue, one of the horses ran over a lad, the oldest son of Mrs. Spotswood King, aged 13 years. His left leg was so badly injured that it was thought amputation would have to be resorted to.
