A Renegade.

--Among the prisoners who arrived here from Leesburg on Thursday is an individual whom some of our citizens are confident of having recognized. A man named Cooper, who, by a curious coincidence, was a cooper by trade, departed from Richmond in May last, leaving behind him a wife and seven children in destitute circumstances. He has now turned up, they say, as an ex- member of Baker's California regiment, with many of his comrades, in a tobacco factory, in this city. This is not an isolated case.
