--The following are the receipts by canal during the month of October; 12,000 bushels of coal; 150 tons of scrap iron; 75 tons of railroad iron; 601,149 feet of lumber; 42,139 bushels of wheat, 1,000 bushels of corn; 1,638 cords of wood; 1,299,550 shingles.
The number of boats and vessels arrived is 75, and the number cleared 74.
