C. S. District Court.

--Judge Halyburton has ordered that in any case of garnishment against parties holding the effects of alien enemies, they are to answer within ten to ninety days, on oath, what property or effects they have, and no other interrogatories shall be inserted in or annexed to the writ of the Receiver.

In the Admiralty case of Isaac Williams and others against the sloop Betsy Williams, the vessel was ordered to be sold at Yorktown and the proceeds paid into Court.

Baldwin, a slave, is to be tried to-day for stealing a letter from the Post-Office.
