Good News from the West.

The telegraph brings good tidings, which we trust will be fully confirmed, of the capture of Montgomery and his ‘"Jayhawkers,"’ and Lane's forces, who have been gradually advancing into Arkansas. Montgomery is, perhaps, a greater rascal than Lane, who is reported to have escaped, though probably the latter has the most influence. It is important news, furnishing as it does grounds for hope that the Abolition crusade has received a forcible check in a quarter where it expected to accomplish great results.
