The World's Fair in London.

--A Washington despatch to the New York Herald, dated the 30th ult., says:

‘ The Commissioners for the World's Fair have been actively engaged during the past week in perfecting their arrangements.--Agents have been appointed in the various States and large cities to solicit contributions of manufactures, agriculture productions, &c. The leading spirit among the Commissioners is Col. B. F. Johnson, the veteran Secretary New York Agricultural Society, who took a prominent part in the Crystal Palace exhibition ten years since.
