The Ownership of the Trent.

--The British steamer Trent, on board of which Messrs, Masson and Slidell were captured, is owned by a joint-stock company, styled the Royal Mall Company of London. With the single exception of the Peninsular and Oriental Company, they are the largest steamship owners in Great Britain, their operations extending to the coasts of South America, Central America, Mexico, and the West Indies.
