Railroad accident.

--The Petersburg Express, of the 4th inst., says:

When the freight train, due in this city from Gaston on Monday evening, had approached to within three miles of Jarratt's Depot, the axle-tree of one of the foremost cars brokes, causing five cars to be thrown off the track, breaking several of them to pieces, and very materially injuring the balance.--The accident caused much inconvenience to the regular trains on the road yesterday, most all of which were thrown considerably out of time either way.
