--The ‘"Irish Volunteers,"’ Capt. Triplett, an Alexandria company, stationed at Manassas, request us to acknowledge the receipt of a generous and highly acceptable donation, in the shape of a large lot of under-clothing, from Mrs. William Allen, of Claremont, James River.
The patriotic Alexandrians have no home to look to for supplies, and a voluntary offering in their behalf is duly appreciated.
