Escape of a barn-burner

--On Thursday evening, just at dark, the jailor having occasion to open the door, Hale, who is indicted for burning Hunt's barn, rushed past him and made his escape. Patterson immediately locked the door, two others being in jail, and gave the alarm, and the citizens pursued him, but he succeeded in making his escape.--Jonesbore (Tenn) Union, 6 h.
