Bringing shucks to Market.

--A horse, attached to a wagon laden with shucks, standing near the Dock, yesterday afternoon, suddenly took it into his head to run away, and off he started up Seventeenth street, crossing Main, frightening the ladies and creating a general excitement. When he got to the Vegetable Market, he went crash against a lamp post, shivering the glass lamp to atoms and spilling the shucks into the street, when he concluded it was best to stop. It was, altogether, a remarkable equine performance.
