Selling himself Dearly.

--The Bowling Green correspondent of the Nashville Banner writes:

‘ In the recent engagement near Woodsonville, in which Col. Terry while bravely leading his men to a charge was killed, the son of that gentleman was engaged, and by the side of his father when he felt. Col. Terry fired twelve shots, killing five Hessians before the fatal ball struck him, entering on the right side of the face near the chin, and coming out at the back part of the head.
